A few years ago when I started this blog, I just wanted to share my reviews on products I’d bought and products that I noticed at the counters. At the time, I certainly didn’t expect to be invited to as many product launches and events as I do now.

The term “beauty junkie” is often used to describe those who are passionate about beauty products but I’ve never thought of myself as one. Sure, I love makeup and skincare but that’s not the extent of my interests. I love to read too but I don’t consider myself a bookworm. I just love every aspect of life and this blog has been a convenient vehicle towards discovering more of the world. At the same time, it’s for sharing with my readers all that I have experienced.

This morning I stumbled upon the Dior promo area at MidValley’s Centre Court and checked out their Holiday Collection, Golden Shock. The colours for eyes, lips, cheeks and face are stunning. There are 2 eyeshadow quints and the palettes promise sensual eyes, cloaked in bronzes, grey and beige (046 Golden Reflections), or a bewitching gaze, highlighted with pinks, purples and gold (756 Golden Shock).

My favourite of the 2 is Golden Reflections as I like the blue-greys. Each palette has the perfect balance between light and dark colours. The eyeshadow palettes retail at RM225 each.
