A few years ago when I started this blog, I just wanted to share my reviews on products I’d bought and products that I noticed at the counters. At the time, I certainly didn’t expect to be invited to as many product launches and events as I do now.

The term “beauty junkie” is often used to describe those who are passionate about beauty products but I’ve never thought of myself as one. Sure, I love makeup and skincare but that’s not the extent of my interests. I love to read too but I don’t consider myself a bookworm. There’s nothing like a good body scrub to make bath time more enjoyable as you go into the shower with less-than-smooth skin and once the scrub works, you emerge from the shower with much smoother and softer skin. Handmade Heroes Super Duper Nourishing Rice Scrub Rose Petals is different from other body scrubs I have used as this one is in the form of a paste rather than loose particles. I can see the bits of rose petals embedded within the scrub.

Organically grown rice is grounded and mixed with cocoa butter and sweet almond oil to hydrate skin. Definitely much smoother skin after the scrub has been washed away.
