A few years ago when I started this blog, I just wanted to share my reviews on products I’d bought and products that I noticed at the counters. At the time, I certainly didn’t expect to be invited to as many product launches and events as I do now.

The term “beauty junkie” is often used to describe those who are passionate about beauty products but I’ve never thought of myself as one. Sure, I love makeup and skincare but that’s not the extent of my interests. I love to read too but I don’t consider myself a bookworm. Formulated with a natural origin vegetable complex of 5 essential oils (angelica, lavender, geranium, sweet orange, ylang-ylang) and wheat proteins, L’Occitane Repairing Shampoo for Dry & Damaged Hair helps repair dry, damaged, colour-treated or chemically-treated hair. That’s what I need as my hair is looking worse for wear.

This shampoo smells amazing, it’s a beautiful blend of scents. It has a natural origin foaming base, recommended to be used twice. After the 1st rinse, apply the shampoo again and that is what I have been doing.

Despite the awesome scent, I haven’t seen any fantastic results, hasn’t made my hair look shiny and silky. Maybe it’s just my hair that needs something more drastic. Lovely product though I wish it could do more for my hair.
