A few years ago when I started this blog, I just wanted to share my reviews on products I’d bought and products that I noticed at the counters. At the time, I certainly didn’t expect to be invited to as many product launches and events as I do now.

The term “beauty junkie” is often used to describe those who are passionate about beauty products but I’ve never thought of myself as one. Sure, I love makeup and skincare but that’s not the extent of my interests. I love to read too but I don’t consider myself a bookworm. Every time I try an anti-aging serum, I seriously wonder if it will help diminish fine lines as promised. Of course when trying out a sample of the product, I can’t expect miracles since there is just enough for a few days trial. Kiehl’s Abyssine Serum+ is not only for diminishing fine lines and wrinkles as it also protects against free radical damage. Formulated with naturally-derived ingredient Abyssine & mineral rich Corallina Extract Rapid, this serum penetrates & strengthens skin to fight against external aggression.

It doesn’t look or feel like the typical serum as this one looks and feels more like a milky and fluid emulsion. It absorbs into skin rapidly leaving a smooth surface. I don’t think this serum is available any more.
