A few years ago when I started this blog, I just wanted to share my reviews on products I’d bought and products that I noticed at the counters. At the time, I certainly didn’t expect to be invited to as many product launches and events as I do now.

The term “beauty junkie” is often used to describe those who are passionate about beauty products but I’ve never thought of myself as one. Sure, I love makeup and skincare but that’s not the extent of my interests. I love to read too but I don’t consider myself a bookworm. One of the reasons why some sunscreens are considerably pricier than others is of course the ingredients within. Some sunscreens can be of more benefit to skin than just protecting skin against UVA/UVB rays. Astalift Perfect UV Protector SPF50+ PA++ has astaxanthin, collagen and hyaluronic acid, among others. As many of you may know, astaxanthin is an ideal ingredient for sun protection as it contains carotenoid, has superior antioxidant qualities and that helps reduce damage from sun exposure and inflammation.

I like Astalift Perfect UV Protector SPF50+ PA++ for the pleasant scent and light texture. It has a light analyzing powder to control light absorption and reflection to achieve a brighter skin tone.
