A few years ago when I started this blog, I just wanted to share my reviews on products I’d bought and products that I noticed at the counters. At the time, I certainly didn’t expect to be invited to as many product launches and events as I do now.

The term “beauty junkie” is often used to describe those who are passionate about beauty products but I’ve never thought of myself as one. Sure, I love makeup and skincare but that’s not the extent of my interests. I love to read too but I don’t consider myself a bookworm. Some of the Mentholatum lip balms I have tried before that were supposed to impart colour were just too sheer and I couldn’t see much colour, if at all. Now there is Mentholatum Oil-In Colour Lipbalm which looks promising as it looks like it has as much colour as lipsticks. This color rich formula with essential oils has a texture that melts on your lips once applied while nourishes lips with natural anti-oxidants.

The silky texture of this highly pigmented lip balm melts onto your lips, allowing for light and comfortable wear. There are 4 shades available (Sweet Pink, Smoky Rose, Chic Red and Pop Orange) and it retails at RM19.90/3g.
