A few years ago when I started this blog, I just wanted to share my reviews on products I’d bought and products that I noticed at the counters. At the time, I certainly didn’t expect to be invited to as many product launches and events as I do now.

The term “beauty junkie” is often used to describe those who are passionate about beauty products but I’ve never thought of myself as one. Sure, I love makeup and skincare but that’s not the extent of my interests. I love to read too but I don’t consider myself a bookworm. Pomegranates seem to be a popular ingredient in skincare, perhaps due to their antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties plus it has a very nice scent. Alveu Pomegranate Rejuvenating Facial Scrub smells refreshingly fruity, this was one of the products in a CubeCrate box some time ago.

The exfoliating beads in Alveu Pomegranate Rejuvenating Facial Scrub are very fine and not harsh on skin. My skin feels quite smooth after it has been washed away. Either use it on damp skin or add water gradually if applied on dry skin.
