A few years ago when I started this blog, I just wanted to share my reviews on products I’d bought and products that I noticed at the counters. At the time, I certainly didn’t expect to be invited to as many product launches and events as I do now.

The term “beauty junkie” is often used to describe those who are passionate about beauty products but I’ve never thought of myself as one. Sure, I love makeup and skincare but that’s not the extent of my interests. I love to read too but I don’t consider myself a bookworm. My skin can’t do without toners as I feel like my skincare routine is only complete if I dab some toner after cleansing. It helps my skin retain and boost hydration so no matter where I am, I always bring a small bottle of toner with me. Avene Gentle Toning Lotion is a gentle protective and alcohol-free toner specifically formulated for dry and very dry skin. It’s formulated with natural silicates to help protect from external causes of dryness.

Rich in Avène Thermal Spring Water, sometimes I use this on a compressed mask so that my skin can have the benefits for a longer time than just a few seconds if I use a cotton pad.
