A few years ago when I started this blog, I just wanted to share my reviews on products I’d bought and products that I noticed at the counters. At the time, I certainly didn’t expect to be invited to as many product launches and events as I do now.

The term “beauty junkie” is often used to describe those who are passionate about beauty products but I’ve never thought of myself as one. Sure, I love makeup and skincare but that’s not the extent of my interests. I love to read too but I don’t consider myself a bookworm. Thank goodness Dettol has come up with more than a few variants for its bar soaps as I never got used to the original antibacterial scent which always smelled too strong. Dettol Gold Classic Clean Bar Soap has a very nice, almost aromatherapy-like lemongrass scent. Doesn’t smell like the typical Dettol soap.

When it comes to hygiene, Dettol has a gold standard so it’s great to still have that 100% germ protection coupled with a scent that will no doubt appeal to both men and women. I love this scent as it is so refreshing and invigorating.
