A few years ago when I started this blog, I just wanted to share my reviews on products I’d bought and products that I noticed at the counters. At the time, I certainly didn’t expect to be invited to as many product launches and events as I do now.

The term “beauty junkie” is often used to describe those who are passionate about beauty products but I’ve never thought of myself as one. Sure, I love makeup and skincare but that’s not the extent of my interests. I love to read too but I don’t consider myself a bookworm. Another essano product I could really do with is their Superfoods Certified Organic Turmeric Illuminating Facial Oil. We all know the wonderful benefits of turmeric. It’s has strong antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. This facial oil contains potent Turmeric that balances skin, reduces inflammation and slows the signs of ageing, combined with Crambe Abyssinica Seed Oil to promote skin suppleness and softness. Rosemary improves circulation and Blackcurrant restores natural glow.

Although it is a drugstore product, it has a luxurious feel to it, one that I would associate with more expensive brands. The effect of using this oil is brighter, firmer, revitalised skin. It’s on my skincare wish list for Christmas.
