A few years ago when I started this blog, I just wanted to share my reviews on products I’d bought and products that I noticed at the counters. At the time, I certainly didn’t expect to be invited to as many product launches and events as I do now.

The term “beauty junkie” is often used to describe those who are passionate about beauty products but I’ve never thought of myself as one. Sure, I love makeup and skincare but that’s not the extent of my interests. I love to read too but I don’t consider myself a bookworm. The illustration on the sample sachet of Forest Essentials Sanjeevani Beauty Elixir is of Lord Hanuman carrying the mountain where Sanjeevani grew, to save Lakshman’s life. This formulation is an enriched version of natural Sebum, which instantly penetrates and plumps the skin. Forest Essential’s formulation is made with the four traditional Ayurvedic processes defined in the “Charak Samitha”, an early text on Ayurveda dating back to 900-600 BCE.

This is a serum to be used before moisturizer. The texture is rich yet not thick and it feels very luxurious. Has a mild herbal scent which I love and my skin is drenched with moisture. Fantastic product which I wish I had more of.
