Glimpse Mineral Treatment comes in a set of four shades – sheer, light, medium and deep. It’s a triple-milled blend of pure minerals which can be applied wet or dry. The set includes a zip clear pouch (on one side) and four make-up brushes – kabuki brush, dry foundation brush, wet foundation brush and concealer brush.
What are the benefits of using Glimpse’s mineral foundation? According to their official website, these are the following benefits:-
- Pure minerals protect against UVA and UVB with PA+++ and SPF
- Combats the signs of aging to reveal brighter, more radiant, and healthier-looking skin
- Contains no harmful chemicals commonly found in mineral foundations, such as titanium dioxide, talc, bismuth oxychloride, parabens, phthalates and silicones
- Blends beautifully with Glimpse moisturizers or Mangosteen Pericarp Oil for a flawless creamy foundation
For dry application:-
- Sprinkle a small amount of Mineral Treatment to the lid of the jar.
- Use your Glimpse brush (kabuki brush or dry foundation brush) to pick up the powder.
- Tap off excess powder from the brush and apply to face in circular motion.
- Apply more powder for desired coverage.
- Spritz with Glimpse Toner to set if desired.

For wet application:-
- Mix a small amount of Mangosteen Pericarp Oil or Glimpse Moisturizer with your Mineral Treatment to create a hydrating creamy foundation.
- Apply with Glimpse wet foundation brush.
- Apply more powder for desired coverage.
- Spritz with Glimpse Toner to set if desired.

With a dry application, I got a more sheer/light coverage and with the wet application, I got a fuller coverage. I preferred the wet application because my skin is dry and when the mineral foundation is mixed with serum/moisturiser, my skin felt more comfortable and less tight. Since I didn’t have Mangosteen Pericarp Oil or Glimpse Moisturizer, I just used a serum like Estee Lauder’s Advanced Night Repair.
The brushes are excellent and do not scratch my skin. They really feel like professional make-up brushes which justifies the price of the Mineral Treatment Set. Coverage can be built up by adding additional layers of powder, whether you prefer it wet or dry. When I use it wet, I use the Dry Foundation Brush to apply a layer of powder to set the foundation. I like the powder very much as it’s finely milled and does not settle into fine lines.
All the shades in this set suit my skin tone except Deep which can be used to contour and shade but I am no expert in that respect although I could experiment when I have more time. As this is Mineral Powder, a little goes a long way and one can use each tub sparingly.
