A few years ago when I started this blog, I just wanted to share my reviews on products I’d bought and products that I noticed at the counters. At the time, I certainly didn’t expect to be invited to as many product launches and events as I do now.

The term “beauty junkie” is often used to describe those who are passionate about beauty products but I’ve never thought of myself as one. Sure, I love makeup and skincare but that’s not the extent of my interests. I love to read too but I don’t consider myself a bookworm. Guardian Energise Spa Bath Scrub is infused with Orange and Lemon Essential Oil as well as Pomegranate Extract. It’s a shower gel and bath scrub in one, smells fruity but I can’t make out whether it’s more of a citrus than a pomegranate scent.

Apricot kernels and walnut shells act as exfoliators and it lathers up nicely on damp skin. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw the price of this 750ml pump bottle, only RM8.50. Moreover, it’d just been manufactured in Jan 2016, not old stock. Now THAT is really value for money. I felt like buying a few more bottles since the manufacturing date is so recent.
