A few years ago when I started this blog, I just wanted to share my reviews on products I’d bought and products that I noticed at the counters. At the time, I certainly didn’t expect to be invited to as many product launches and events as I do now.

The term “beauty junkie” is often used to describe those who are passionate about beauty products but I’ve never thought of myself as one. Sure, I love makeup and skincare but that’s not the extent of my interests. I love to read too but I don’t consider myself a bookworm. Robert Lee Morris is a jewelry designer and sculptor who has collaborated with MAC for this limited edition collection. The Powder Blush and Pro Longwear Powder are packaged in a sculptured hammered gold compact which looks like a clam shell to me. This collection was only made available at MAC outlets in Mid Valley, Pavilion and KLCC last Friday and would you believe that it’s almost sold out!

Really looks like it is clam shell inspired

I tried on the Persimmon Mattene lipstick and Linda Powder Blush. I expected the Mattene texture to be drying as it is semi-matte but it is creamy velvety and not THAT dry. Persimmon is a warm peach nude. Linda Powder Blush is a warm peachy shade.
