A few years ago when I started this blog, I just wanted to share my reviews on products I’d bought and products that I noticed at the counters. At the time, I certainly didn’t expect to be invited to as many product launches and events as I do now.

The term “beauty junkie” is often used to describe those who are passionate about beauty products but I’ve never thought of myself as one. Sure, I love makeup and skincare but that’s not the extent of my interests. I love to read too but I don’t consider myself a bookworm. The current hottest lipstick trend may be matte but I prefer metallics as matte lipsticks are too dry for my lips and metallics have that shimmer for making a statement so that even if I have nothing else on my face, my lips show up vibrant. MAC Trending Metallics Collection has 6 metallic lipsticks which look rather funky and cool.

High Strung, Plum Dandy, Meltdown, Pick Me! Pick Me!, Frost On & On, Ramblin’ Rose

Some of the shades look quite pale but I think that these can be layered over matte lipsticks for shimmer effect. Other than the lipsticks, there are also 4 pigments in this collection.
