A few years ago when I started this blog, I just wanted to share my reviews on products I’d bought and products that I noticed at the counters. At the time, I certainly didn’t expect to be invited to as many product launches and events as I do now.

The term “beauty junkie” is often used to describe those who are passionate about beauty products but I’ve never thought of myself as one. Sure, I love makeup and skincare but that’s not the extent of my interests. I love to read too but I don’t consider myself a bookworm. Naruko Illuminating Bright Essential Gel Cream is a light texture cream with 60 plant extracts for fairer and firmer skin. A spatula is included in the box. The cream contains essential oils so they don’t recommend applying it on the eye area.

This could well be the whitening version of Naruko’s 60 Actives La Creme EX which is derived from the culmination of Chinese medicine and western aroma therapy. Actually, I think I need the 60 Actives La Creme EX more than the Illuminating Bright Essential Gel Cream because the former is for improving skin elasticity and firmness as well as preventing sagging skin. Naruko Illuminating Bright Essential Gel Cream is okay for hydration but I’m not 100% in love with the texture and how it feels on my skin after application, feels a bit sticky.
