A few years ago when I started this blog, I just wanted to share my reviews on products I’d bought and products that I noticed at the counters. At the time, I certainly didn’t expect to be invited to as many product launches and events as I do now.

The term “beauty junkie” is often used to describe those who are passionate about beauty products but I’ve never thought of myself as one. Sure, I love makeup and skincare but that’s not the extent of my interests. I love to read too but I don’t consider myself a bookworm. There were a few sample sachets of Shu Uemura Phyto-Black Lift Smoothing Anti-Wrinkle Emulsion in one of my sample pouches so I started using them before I forgot all about them. Shu Uemura Phyto-Black Lift Smoothing Anti-Wrinkle Emulsion is an anti-aging emulsion which contains some rather expensive sounding ingredients such as black tea ferment, black sugar complex, litchi shell extract and deep sea water (the last ingredient seems to be present in a number of Shu Uemura skincare?).

This is a lightweight, fast-absorbing moisturiser which I scent I could get addicted to. I like the texture and like all the other Shu Uemura moisturisers I’ve tried before, this one softens and hydrates my skin extremely well.
