A few years ago when I started this blog, I just wanted to share my reviews on products I’d bought and products that I noticed at the counters. At the time, I certainly didn’t expect to be invited to as many product launches and events as I do now.

The term “beauty junkie” is often used to describe those who are passionate about beauty products but I’ve never thought of myself as one. Sure, I love makeup and skincare but that’s not the extent of my interests. I love to read too but I don’t consider myself a bookworm. Those of us with dry lips can benefit from a lip treatment like this one from Catrice Cosmetics. This lip treatment comes in a glass pot so you’d have to use fingers for dabbing on to lips. It looks quite concentrated and thick so you would need just a bit for each application.

Shea butter pampers dry lips providing intense moisture and it has a subtle citrus fragrance. It can be used throughout the day or as an overnight treatment. Other than a hydrating effect, it also softens lips. I applied some as there was a sample pot and it felt rather good.
