A few years ago when I started this blog, I just wanted to share my reviews on products I’d bought and products that I noticed at the counters. At the time, I certainly didn’t expect to be invited to as many product launches and events as I do now.

The term “beauty junkie” is often used to describe those who are passionate about beauty products but I’ve never thought of myself as one. Sure, I love makeup and skincare but that’s not the extent of my interests. I love to read too but I don’t consider myself a bookworm. A few months ago when Guardian had their big discount on hair care products, I bought this tub of Dove Intense Repair Treatment Mask as I have always wanted to try Dove hair mask. My hair really needs a hair mask that strengthens and provides progressive nourishment. This one is enriched with Keratin Repair Actives to help repair hair damage inside and out.

The hair mask is thick and creamy with a lovely scent. It certainly does alleviate dryness and makes my hair much softer and smoother. Consequently my hair is a lot more manageable. It’s recommended to be applied for 3-5 minutes but I leave it on a lot longer than that for maximum effect.
