A few years ago when I started this blog, I just wanted to share my reviews on products I’d bought and products that I noticed at the counters. At the time, I certainly didn’t expect to be invited to as many product launches and events as I do now.

The term “beauty junkie” is often used to describe those who are passionate about beauty products but I’ve never thought of myself as one. Sure, I love makeup and skincare but that’s not the extent of my interests. I love to read too but I don’t consider myself a bookworm. Holika Holika Heart Crush Lipstick Creamy Velvet is one of those cute lipsticks you want to keep. This one is in nomakenolife Beauty Box received last month. It has a creamy, semi-matte formula which doesn’t feel too dry. There are 9 shades of Holika Holika Heart Crush Lipstick Creamy Velvet and mine is PK01, a reddish shade.

Coverage is good as I only needed to apply once to get the colour to show up. The lipstick contains oils that nourish, soften and moisturize the thin and delicate skin of the lips and protect it from the negative effects of environmental factors. The size of the lipstick is quite small at just 1.8g.
