Lessening Hair Fall : Himalaya Herbals Anti-Hair Fall Shampoo

Tesco had a 10% discount (not much but better than nothing!) on all its shampoos and conditioners recently and that’s when I picked up this bottle of Himalaya® Herbals Anti-Hair Fall Shampoo. There’s also the Protein Shampoo : Repair & Regenerate, Protein Shampoo : Softness & Shine, Protein Shampoo : Gentle Daily Care and Anti-Dandruff Shampoo.

The bottles of shampoo are big – 400ml each. These bottles are meant to stay at home, they’re heavy and tall. They are botanical based shampoos, most of the ingredients are plant extracts. I took a sniff of the Anti-Hair Fall Shampoo and I liked the scent.

It has a 2 in 1 formula that provides root nourishment and strengthens weakened hair. It claims to condition and improve hair texture to reduce hair fall due to breakage. It’s for all hair types and says that it’s safe for use on artifically coloured or permed hair.

I use salon shampoos rarely, my shampoos and conditioners are mostly from drugstores or hypermarkets. I have had heavy hair fall-out from some shampoos so would the Anti-Hair Fall Shampoo be any different?

The first time I used it, the usual amount of hair came off as for previous shampoos but for subsequent shampoos, I noticed that there was less hair fall-out. There was also less hair fall-out in the mornings when I combed my hair.

I love the scent of this shampoo, it’s like washing my hair with crushed flowers. I think I’ll be sticking to this shampoo for a while. It’s much kinder to my hair than most shampoos I’ve tried. I purchased it at RM20.60 (after 10% discount).

  1. Hi, i also have the same issue like you especially when i wake up in the morning and my hair falls a lot. I just bought this shampoo too since it is made of herbs. Hopefully it gives me the same effect as what it wrote on the bottle. BTW how is the progress so far? Thanks for the review .

    1. Hi, progress is not too bad in that a few strands still fall out in the morning but not as much as before. You are most welcome and do let me know if it works for you too.
