A few years ago when I started this blog, I just wanted to share my reviews on products I’d bought and products that I noticed at the counters. At the time, I certainly didn’t expect to be invited to as many product launches and events as I do now.

The term “beauty junkie” is often used to describe those who are passionate about beauty products but I’ve never thought of myself as one. Sure, I love makeup and skincare but that’s not the extent of my interests. I love to read too but I don’t consider myself a bookworm. I just love every aspect of life and this blog has been a convenient vehicle towards discovering more of the world. At the same time, it’s for sharing with my readers all that I have experienced.

Watsons Beauty Festival is an annual festival initiated by Watsons Malaysia to celebrate beauty by showcasing the latest beauty trends and highest quality products to consumers. This inaugural festival kicked off with the launch today and the theme is ‘How To Look Like A Korean Pop Star’ in keeping up with the K-pop phenomenon worldwide.

The 6-day roadshow at 1 Utama Centre Court (till 2 May 2016) will be filled with beauty talk shows, beauty transformation showcase, selfie booths, K-pop dance performances and attractive promotions from participating brands such as Bio-Essence, Pue Beauty, Hada Labo, CNP Laboratory, Cremorlab, Maybelline, Victoria Jackson, Avene and many more.

Watsons Malaysia introduced the Watsons Beauty Show, a beauty edutainment video hosted by renowned radio DJ personality, Gan MeiYan and in collaboration with Jil Yong, Beauty Lifestyle Consultant. The beauty show is made available on Watsons YouTube and Facebook channel, the show will focus on the latest trends in beauty.
